After yet another incident of abuse, Sophia is strongly advised to take her boys and flee from her husband before he might kill her one day.
But even with a new identity and living under the radar, there is no peace.
Sophia: “My husband came after me for years; he was going to every family member and even managed to find out numbers from refuges I stayed in. I always had to look over my shoulder.”
But her angry ex-husband was not the only one who chased her. “I believe Jesus chased after me. Even as a young girl in a muslim family, I was fascinated by Jesus. He wanted me to know Him, he wanted me to know His love.”
In her testimony video, Sophia talks about her journey of changing her faith and finding a true source of peace and joy.
Ezekiel 34:11: ‘I myself will search and find my sheep. I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock’
// Note: in this video, Sophia talks about a salvation prayer. Well, there is no one-and-only salvation prayer, but if you want to surrender your life to Jesus just like Sophia did, you can pray this simple prayer:
‘Dear Jesus, I believe in you and I want to have a relationship with you. I know I have sinned. Please forgive me. I want to follow You and learn to live my life more like you.’
