“Depression has been a big part of my life since my 17th…but three years ago it ended,” says musician Xander Stok, “I never imagined living without it.”
The singer and songwriter, who had success with his band ‘The New Shining’, shares in this testimony video how he struggled with the disease. The depressions came and went, but sometimes lasted three years. During his latest dark period his girlfriend was on suicide watch.
A miraculous encounter with Jesus, three years ago, changed everything. Since then, depressions have been something of the past, and he has a new mission in life: put all the Bible book onto music.
His project, ‘Project of Love’ has since then captured the imagination of many listeners from all over the world. “It’s like watching someone else”, he says in this video while watching old footage of himself.
