In the last twelve months, medical doctor Rawle and his wife Caitlin faced huge financial challenges.
Rawle: “We have always been financially stable, but 2023 was the toughest year of our life. We were tested as a family.”
In the midst of it all, the couple found a deep sense of hope in God. Caitlin: “For the first time in our life, we were so intimate with God. Before all these things happened we told the Lord, that He could take everything away from us.”
Several business ideas failed spectacularly. In January 2024, the couple got a new business idea: an out-of-hours medical services. Rawle: “It was like a download of an idea, we just knew what to do and how to do it. And all the doors opened. Out of nowhere the most unlikely person gave us €50.000 as a help. It had to be God.”
Within two weeks, the idea turned into a successful business.
For Rawle, one of the biggest lessons learned is that God is leading us, even when we don’t seem to notice. “It’s almost like God’s goodness and grace does not allow you to prosper in the place that He does not have for you”.
